Hi there,
I had a look at this product and decided to purchase it for my iPhones, iMac, and iPad based on the good feedback the product had received. Functionally, it seems fine, but the wireless connectivity to sync data between the various apps seems to be very flaky.
Most of the time when I click on the Synchronise icon on the iMac, it doesn't find any of my mobile devices - it has only found my iPhone on a handful of occasions.
I've followed the advice given on other threads about restarting the router, removing the app from memory on the iPhone by double-tapping the home button...etc....but I am still unable to sync between my devices after many attempts.
I am reluctant to cut my losses and start again with another product, but I may have to unless you can suggest anything that will get the app to reliably identify my other wireless devices and sync my data.
Please help.
Many Thanks,
-Steve

Re: Continued Wireless Sync'ing problems
Can you try to create an "Ad Hoc" WiFi network on your iMac and connect an iPhone on it and then try to sync to see if it works better ?

Re: Continued Wireless Sync'ing problems
Hi Angeman,
Thanks for the feedback, and it worked!. I created a temporary wifi network between the iMac and the iPhone, and the apps sync'd first time.
So, it seems like there are some wireless network settings interfering with the app on my home router perhaps?
Have you seen this before? Are there any network settings that you suggest I try tuning to see if it allows a connection over my home wifi network?
Thanks again

Could you send me some screenshots of the router settings interface by email ? I'll look at them and try to figure out what might cause the interferences.

Re: Continued Wireless Sync'ing problems
I had the same problem (Dutch UPC network). I needed to turn "DMZ" on in my wireless network with the local IP of my computer.
"If you have a local client PC that cannot run an Internet application properly from behind the NAT firewall, you can open unrestricted two-way Internet access for this client by defining a Virtual DMZ Host."
The second thing I did is give my computer and my Iphone a static IP.
I tried it a couple of times and it worked!
