I've been using the paid version of iCompta on my iPhone for some time now and it is working great and meeting my needs. However one issue that I've recently started experiencing is connecting to my computer via the iCompta web server. I transfer qif files weekly from my computer to iCompta on my iPhone. When I first started using iCompmta (both the free version and the paid version) I could connect the web server every time flawlessly. Over the last month or so when I try to connect, I start the web server on my iPhone and then type in the HTTP address on my computer and it does not connect for the first several tries and many times I need to restart both my computer, my phone, and sometimes reboot my router before it will connect. Eventually I get it to connect but I'm not sure what is the secret to getting it to connect. When it does connect, I get a message on my phone asking to "allow" the connection, which I don't recall happening when I first started using iCompta.
I've confirmed that both my phone and my computer are connected to the same wifi network. I'm not sure what has changed that is now causing this issue. Any help would be appreciated. Note, I have added a wireless printer to my network that is utilizing a WSD port (not sure if this is relevant or not).
Thanks for your time.

I'll add that once I get web server to connect and "allow" it on my phone, it will re-connect several times as needed. However, it seems once I shut down my computer and wait a week or so before trying to reconnect the web server the issue starts again.

I'll take a look at it however do you know that you can simply email yourself the qif files ? It should be quicker than using the embedded web server.

I am not aware of that. So if I email one or more qif files (one qif for each account I have) from my computer to my phone, I can then import the qif files into my iCompta app? Are there instructions in the help file that I missed for this option?

Yes, you just have to select the QIF files in the attachments of your email, click on the action button and finally select "Open in iCompta 6".

If your QIF files happened to be located on iCloud Drive for example, you could also open them in Files app and click on the action button to open them in iCompta 6.
