Hello,
I'm a bit (a lot ?!) lost when comes to the invoicing capacities. I need to set up:
Estimates
Invoices
and Credit notes
Also how to apply a discount to an invoice and how to make it appear on the printout.. that type of basic invoicing stuff on needs..
I'm trying to teach myself, but to make things worse some links are dead.. basically all the links pointing to the Github under this section:
"You can also read the documentation here:"
http://mattgemmell.com/mgtemplateengine ... ith-cocoa/
BTW the link to Matt Gemmell provided in the Help is also dead.. I had to Google to get the above one (this is the dead link provided in the Help manual: http://svn.cocoasourcecode.com/MGTempla ... README.txt)
Would be good if the Help manual was somewhat up to date..
Am I the only one who would benefit from a more in depth approach of the invoicing capacities by the dev ?
Maybe even providing template sets to start with.. It all seems a little "geeky" to set up..
Thanks...

Re: Help with Invoices and estimates and templates in genera
Sorry for the dead link, here is the correct one : https://github.com/mattgemmell/MGTempla ... /README.md
I'll correct it in the user guide as well.
When you create a new template it is already pre filled with a very basic layout.
To make an estimate, you can just change the "Number" field in the invoices list and set it to "123456 (Estimate)" for example.
To make a discount you can add an item to the invoice, name it "Discount" for example and put a negative amount.
I understand this can feel geeky but currently this is just some basic stuff to get started and it will be get better in future versions.
