iCompta 5 import category ratio set to 0

Post by Roland »

Hi

First thanks for the cool new looking version of iCompta :)

I have a little problem with the Import settings of iCompta

FYI: I'm importing my credit card statement. The 'Betrag' field (Amount) is in USD, since I am abroad, and the 'Gutschrift' (Credit, income) and 'Belastung' (Debit, paid) are in CHF.

Here are my settings from iCompta 4

in iCompta5 I tried to reproduce the settings. I left the amount field blank, because it was in the wrong currency and just filled Debit and Credit.

After importing I get the +/- amounts, however I also tried to get the categories which I could assign, however the percentage of each ratio is set to 0.... Therefore it does not properly show in the statistics
iCompta 5 - Category 0 percent
iCompta 5 - Category 0 percent

Do you know why this is happening?
I tried to find information in your Guide-section on the website, but I found no place which explained what are all these fields for... especially fields like Type, Shares In/Out?

By the way - just some thoughts:
Maybe I did not see it yet, but I don't see the big difference between Automatic Import and the other 'import'?
It would be nice if there would be a back button in to the mapping from the validation of the import mapping - if possible.

Otherwise I really like how iCompta is progressing so far :-)
Keep up the good work!
Soon a Merry Christmas ;-)

It should work, can you send me the file you import so that I can try ?

This is for investment.

Automatic import is for making an import "automatically" every time iCompta is launched for example.

Oh ok. I have sent a mail to your lyricapps-support-address, containing the attachments.

Thank you very much for the clarification :)
