Inverting advanced filter conditions

Post by mjholgate »

Hi,

Is it possible to invert a condition in an advanced filter? I know this is possible for some of the conditions, but not all, e.g. I can't find a way to filter based on "Categories DO NOT contain Salary'.

Also, I've got a vague memory that it was possible to nest filter expressions to allow more advanced queries such as The amount is greater than 0 AND (Name is "Amazon" OR Name is "Google"). I couldn't find a way to do that though - am I misremembering or was it a feature of an earlier release?

Many thanks for a fantastic app, and looking forward to v5!
Matt.

You have to maintain option (alt) key down while clicking on the + button at the end of a row to make a new compound row.

Ah, awesome, thanks, I could have sworn I'd done it in the past, but just couldn't remember!

That also means I can negate conditions by using 'None of the following are true.

Thanks very much!
