date input trouble

Hi,

I'm new user in Japan.Using both icompta(the latest version) on Mac Lion,&icompta mobile on iPhone.
I love your apps,but I have just one trouble :| .

When creating a new transaction,I can't choose any date except current day.
neither can't input yyyy/mm/dd format.
It sounds BOOP(something error sounds?),and
I can't do nothing but delete the transaction.

But I have no trouble with icompta mobile like those.
I can choose any date on icompta mobile on Iphone,
and after syncing with icompta on Mac,the correct date is reflected.
I'd like to get some advice.

P.S.

'Easier date editing' does works.
Only entering the day,automatically completed by current month/year.
But can't choose previous/future month/year.

You can enter a full date with easier editing in one of these formats : ddmm, ddmmyy or ddmmyyyy.

Thank you Angeman,

It works well and now I can enter the date.:)
But still I can't choose date from calendar icon.why??

Can you post a screenshot of you regional format settings in the system preferences ? Thanks
