Reporting?

Post by mrtoner »

It seems I'm missing something quite simple, but I just don't see it. Other than the category report -- which shows a summary of each category grouped by month for all of the displayed transactions -- there doesn't seem to be any reporting tools.

Where will I find a balance sheet (net worth), income statement (income and expense), cashflow report, budget report, etc.?

A balance sheet ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balance_sheet ):

An income statement ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Income_statement ) (with budget):

A cash flow statement ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cash_flow_statement ) is very similar to an income statement, but it shows only items that affect cash and cash-like accounts:

A good budget report ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Budget ) should show both budget and actual amounts for a given period, with the difference (expressed as a dollar amount or percentage):
