Show previous transactions not working properly

I still don't understan why, but "show previous transactions" is not working properly. Sometimes the pop up just disapears as soon I select a given "name".

By the way, I didn't deactivate "Previous transactions" field in the customization screen of the advanced transaction editor.

I am using iCompta 6.0.53 in a iPhone X iOS 15.3.1

Do you have transactions with the same name in the account that is currently selected ? Or are they in a different account ?

I have many transactions with the same name in the same or a different account, since I use the field "name" to describe who pays me and who I pay.

I just checked and the same is happening on my iPad.

I will try make a video, it's pretty unusual. It worked like a charm for years.

I am sorry, Angeman. Now I understood your question. In fact, the "show previous transactions" is only working when a transaction with the same name already exists in that specifc account. Was it changed when? Was it deliberately? I think it is better when "show previous transactions" works across accounts. Often one uses more than one account to pay the same person (cash and credit card, for example).

There is a new setting "When creating a new transaction, propose previous transactions from the same account only" that you can uncheck in the settings from the white bar under the transactions list.
