iCompta version 6.0.52 major error?

After an automatic update to iCompta version 6.0.52, I was unable to enter transactions with specific amounts (above $2,900 approximately). The app simply blanked them out as transactions and would not accept them. More importantly, the balance amounts suddenly changed by an order of magnitude (e.g. 4,000 to 40,000) for no reason at all.

I hope this is just a bug that can be fixed quickly. I've used iCompta for years with no problems at all, so this is a completely new error and not a user issue. Please let me know if a fix or work-around is coming soon.

Can you take a screenshot of your list of currencies ? I guess there is a currency with $2 as symbol.

Also, the original amount I was trying to post was $4995.72. I tried again with $2995.72 and still no luck. It only worked when I entered it as three separate transactions: $2000, $2000, and $995.72. After I did that, the balance jumped up by a factor of 10x!

Thanks for the screen recording. So it's just that you have an active filter and the transaction you are creating is hidden instantly by the filter. Just click on "All" button in the blue filter bar and you will see all your transactions.

Oh, wow. Now I feel stupid. It was user error after all.

Thank you so much for diagnosing the problem. You may want to delete this conversation thread since I was clearly mistaken in suspecting the 6.0.52 update.
