Re: Anything moving on?
I agree, improvements --in some cases for major issues-- are a long time coming. Although there are many things this program does well, there is a growing list of suggestions. Some of these are "would be nice" [more legible UI], "important" [usable and printable statements and graphs], "tricky ...

Re: sort filter
Good idea and good work around, but  if you have more than 10 filters, you might want to use double letters (AA, AB, AC...BA, BB, BC,... to ZZ) or double numbers (00, 01, 02, 03...09, 10... to 99) as otherwise using 1, 2, 3... 9, 10 ,11, ... you will find the list sorts as 0, 1, 10, 11...19, 2 ...

Re: Incorrect running balance calculation
The incorrect running balance calculation has not been fixed by release 4.0.10. This is a serious bug so, caveat emptor users intending to do multi-currency accounting. I still can't reproduce the bug that's why I've not been able to fix it. Well, I still get the bug in the main file I have been ...

Easier new transaction entry - a suggestion
If a search criteria has been entered (to find a set of matching transactions), and then New Transaction is selected [either by cmd-N or clicking on the (+) button], the search criteria is erased and the new transaction is deselected. Having to reselect the transaction (and having to re ...

Re: Incorrect running balance calculation
WTF? Since the most recent update to 4.0.10, some of the transaction (specifically a transfer between two accounts in different currencies) now show 3 digits after the decimal point. Maybe some people would find this extra precision useful. I find it make reading the running balance even more ...

Re: Incorrect running balance calculation
There are no messages that start with iCompta in the Console app. Actually, I cannot find the "iCompta" string anywhere in the Console.
Any suggestions?
PS: I would like to be able to post the relevant screen shots. Please make this possible, or provide instructions. Thank you.

Re: Incorrect running balance calculation
Update: This error appears to be reproducible and seems - often (but not always) to involve transfers between 2 accounts (in the same or different currencies); - sometimes to occur when changing the date of a previously entered transaction - sometimes to occur when capturing a transaction is ...

Incorrect running balance calculation
Hello to developer: Unless I am doing something wrong, I am experiencing a critical bug: the running balance is not recalculated when a transaction is inserted (that is: a new transaction is added on a date earlier than the latest transaction date for the account). The running balance is calculated ...
