Re: Future of iCompta?
cool to hear. I had in fact to point out that the developer is always reactive in the forum but still iCompta got downvoted. Anyway, as I suggested before, I wouldn't mind paying for an incremental update if it brings some new things. That would help you getting some deserved cashflow and possibly m...

Re: Future of iCompta?
Another year is gone. A couple of days ago I had to fight off some dudes on reddit, when I suggested icompta as an app for budgeting, because they were saying it's abandonware. Came here for news but I might start to have to agree with them tho, since nothing is moving on. Look at this thread... it'...

New version, if ever - future of icompta?
I read elsewhere here in the forum that you're not planning a new version for this year and probably not even for the next. That's an unsettling news. It has already been 2 years since the v6 launch and there have been tons of suggestions in the forum but I don't see things... moving on, things impl...

Future of iCompta?
Hi there. It's been a while since v6 came out, more or less 2 years ago. Besides some incremental updates I haven't seen things moving on. There are some good suggestions around this forum, some newer, some much older, that could be implemented. If not you could poll the user base for what they woul...

Re: working very slow (lots of rainbow wheels)
Thanks for your information, that made me discover a way to do it I didn't know existed ! So you can type the following command in the /Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app application : defaults write com.lyricapps.iCompta6 AppleLanguages '("en")' Good Lord! I was asking for that years ag...

Hey Angeman,
do you still plan to develop and support iCompta for the future?
I hope so

Re: Moving to a new bank
Happily, the copy and paste thing worked for categories and for budgets too.
This is seriously cool and time saving.

Re: Moving to a new bank
No, in fact I don't want to change them, I'd love to keep them. But maybe it wasn't clear that I am going to create a new file too, because the way the new bank export the data it is different from the old, so they don't mix well. Moreover, the "new" account is actually an old one, been us...

Moving to a new bank
Hi there, I'm in the process of moving to a different bank. This will mean I'll have to manually enter and organize all my category tree, something I carefully tailored during the years. Bummer, unless I'm hopefully overlooking something. Wouldn't it be a good idea to be able to have a "global&...
