Thanks, it works. Easy when you know how: entering a "+" in front of the amount is crucial.

Glad I found this posting, as I too was having difficulty with dates in regards to my .qif file imports (all transactions appearing in January, no month import):
the bold cap "MM" in dd/MM/yyyy is vital!
Reimport thereafter successful for me.

Assigning categories as Income (not Expense)
This may be obvious, but as a new user I can't figure out how to denote a category "Salary & Wages" as a positive Income item; all Categories are negative Expense items. This is causing me frustration in the Budgets section, where I can't get "Salary & Wages" to appear in the Income column. Any ...
