If the app gets killed or if you restart your device, iCompta automatically opens the last opened document. It can't be changed sorry.

There is one or more duplicated transactions that prevent saving. Since you deleted all transactions, I suggest you instead to go back to the document selector screen, delete your document and create a new one. It should work better this way.

If it can't save then next time you quit and relaunch the app, all changes are lost. Could you post a screenshot of the error message ?
