Credit Card Account

Post by alexmevissen »

Hi there,

I have been using iCompta for a while now, and just started to figure out all the good features that are in there. So I have now set up an account for my credit card, but after importing transactions, I find that every purchase is listed as credit, while payments made toward the card show as debit. Is there something I am missing? I was able to create a deferred debit, but that would again show up as credit in my bank account, which seems wrong to me.

Any advice?

Many Thanks!

Maybe the amounts in the file you imported didn't have a negative sign. You can create a rule with an "Invert amount" action and apply it to the transactions in your credit card account.

Thank you, that's a good workaround.
