My database document is now 1.3MB and the app seems to be getting a bit sluggish on transaction saves and backups / syncs.
Is there anything I can do to improve performance or at least stop it slowing down further?

You can use the "clean transactions" feature to remove some old transactions.

Thanks but I only have about a month's transactions on there anyway and I like to keep a reasonable history (at least I did when everything was on Quicken).

I hope it wont become unusably slow in 2 or 3 months time!.

Performance will be greatly improved in version 3 anyway.
