I bought an iCompta license but when I tried to open the .iComptaLicense file from the email a message popped up that said, "There is no default application specified to open the document '...iComptaLicense' " and I have the option to choose an application. What application should I choose or is there something else I could do?

It has to be opened with iCompta to activate. You can drag and drop it on iCompta's icon in the dock and it should work.
