I have the lite version of iComptaMobile for evaluation and was attempting import OFX transactions from my Bank of America (California) checking account, but have failed to do so. iComptaMobile reports a "Validation Error" in the Response section of the log. I have confirmed the "OFX direct download" settings as correct for Bank of America and have the proper account number and type entered. Note that OFX downloads have been enabled for my Bank of America accounts.

Try to set the account type to "Credit card" instead of "Checking".

Same result. However, if I enter the credit card account number (instead of the checking), transactions download as expected. It seems that those accounts that require a Bank ID (which is the banks routing number) are failing.

Ok so have you try to enter your bank ID and also touch the check mark next to it to enable it ?

Yes, and I get a different error message - "There is a problem with your accounts setup in the software. Please re-verify the account attributes and try again."

I have re-verified and all looks correct.

So am I out of luck on this?

I should mention that OFX downloads work just fine with Splash Money and PageOnce for the same Bank of America accounts. As this bank is one of the biggest (if not the biggest) in the US, I would think you would want your program to work correctly with it.

Can you post the details screenshot with this new setup ?
Also try to set 'Application version' to 1800.

An 'Application version' of 1800 makes no difference - same error.

I've added some more lines in the next update in the 'Details' window which will list the accounts recognized by the bank so we should be able to understand better why it doesn't work.

Do you know about when the update will be available?
