I bought ver 2.0.2 for my iPhone 3GS (iOS 4). Then my wife who owns iPod touch 1G (iOS 2) went buying iOS 3.1.3 to prepare for iComptaMobile.
After release of ver 2.1, I updated my iComptaMobile. Then my wife bought another iComptaMobile via iTunes on her iBook. She connected her iPod touch 1G to iTunes... but the app was not installed in her iPod touch 1G.
Yep, she got ver 2.1 that requires iOS 3.2 or higher... iPod touch 1G cannot handle it.

Now we're considering we should buy iPod touch 2G or higher... but it costs over $200.00. In addition, she's happy with iPod touch 1G and iOS 2. She doesn't need any features of iOS 3.x except iComptaMobile.
So if we could have iComutaMobile ver 2.0.2 now, we might get fine

If you have a Time Machine running you can restore previous version in Music/iTunes/Mobile Applications folder of your home folder. Otherwise I don't know how you can do it as only Apple can deliver signed applications...

For people having the same issue, the old version (2.0.2) should be in the trash after iTunes updates to 2.1 so you can restore it from there if you didn't empty the trash before.

I have never had the v2.0.2 because I bought it right now (v2.1.1)!
Is there any change to get the older version for my iphone with firmware 3.1.3?

Try to extract and drop this on iTunes but I'm not sure it will work as it needs to be signed by Apple.

I unpacked it but it is not an ipa file?!
Never mind I tried it and my mac told me: "You cannot use iCompta because it is on this type of Mac computer
unsupported" ?!

Ok, I thinks I might have an idea on how to make this work :

• Go to iTunes/Mobile Applications folder
• Click on iCompta.ipa and rename it iCompta.zip
• Double click on it to expand, it will create a folder named iCompta
• Open that folder and go in the Payload folder
• Replace iCompta.app with the one you downloaded above
• Go back to iTunes/Mobile Applications folder
• Move iCompta.zip to the trash
• Right click on iCompta folder and click on compress menu item
• Rename iCompta.zip to iCompta.ipa
• Try to sync
