Hello,

I have loved iCompta since I picked it up a year and a half ago. I have paid for v4 but I am finding it sluggish. I know I have 18 months of transactions in it but this is what I want because I am comparing this year to last. I wondered if there was anything I can do to speed it up? Rebuild some indexes etc.?

I am running on a MacBook dual-core.

I am aware of this problem and I will rewrite a large part of the code to improve performance. It might take some time however.

I think things goes better if icompta would use multicore capability, when avalaible. In my 4 core, it seems to use only one core.
As example, when promoting category, monitor reports only 1 core used. This job takes a very long time on my about 20.000 transactions database.

I agree. I think it only uses one of my cores too. However, this does not detract from what a good app it is
