I would like to be able to link existing transactions together, even when they're in multiple currencies. This comes up for me as I had been withdrawing Mexican Pesos in Mexico from my Canadian Dollar account. I'd like to be able to "convert as transfer" and let iCompta compute the effective exchange rate the bank applied.

In order to do that you have to use the "Make transfer" button of the window's toolbar. The "Convert as transfer" menu only works with transactions having the same converted amount.
