Scheduler window widens

I realize this is a Mac problem, but wonder if anything can be done on the iCompta side to fix it.
When an account, report, budget or setting is selected in the left sidebar, the window can be made smaller by dragging the right lower corner or choosing Move and Resize in the upper left corner. The minimum width allowed is 8” (US inches).
But when Scheduler is chosen in the left sidebar the window automatically widens to a minimum of 11 3/8” on a new test file (13” on my working file) and connot be made narrower.
