Hi Angeman,
I've been dealing with what I found to be this issue for a lot of time, and finally decided to ask for a fix.
While moving up or down through my transactions with the cursor keys, if at some point I delete a transaction, and then immediately press an up or down cursor key, the UI goes crazy and all transactions disappear. Then I need to click the "All" filter button to recover them, but instead of getting back where I was, I'm at the oldest transaction.
Can we amend the current behavior, so when we delete a transaction, the immediate next one is selected automatically, not to loose our place?
Thank you.

Re: No Transaction Highlighted After Deleting One
I'm sorry but unfortunately it's a bit complicated to modify this behavior in iCompta 6 however, should there be iCompta 7 in the future, I'll make sure to fix that.
Re: No Transaction Highlighted After Deleting One
I’m sad to learn, that the new version of iCompta we have been waiting for so long might not happen eventually.
Would you be so kind to then add the option in the current version, to export our finances in a format compatible with a mainstream application like MoneyWiz.
This is the second time it happens to me. I begun tracking my finances in early 2010s with Squirrel App, which disappeared a few years later. I think it might be bought by MoneyWiz. Back then that developer prepared a special export option for his customers to migrate to them.
Could you please do something similar for us, possibly enabling us to keep critical info during our migration, like Splits and Categories?
Thank you.

I still think it will happen eventually, but I really don't know when.
You can already export your transactions in QIF or OFX format and I'm pretty sure MoneyWiz can import these formats.
