Automatic Import Functionality Quirks

Post by Beppe »

Hello,

Is it normal that the Automatic Import data is not updated? I have tried several times, and it seems to be one day behind.

I also have a couple of other questions:

I created a new blank account and populated it using the Automatic Import feature. I only get one month of data and couldn't find any way to get older transactions. Is this normal behavior?

When importing via a QIF file, I always get "New transactions" for the "Name" field. However, when I use the Automatic Import feature, I get more meaningful names. But when I tried to use the Automatic Import feature on an old account populated via a QIF file, the names were not updated, even though I checked everything in the Settings for the New Automatic Import window.

Thank you!

Yes, new transactions are only refreshed once per day (during the night).

It depends on your bank.

Do you mean you checked the "Update name" box from the import settings ?

In the automatic import settings screen (the one when you see the connections to your banks), there is a "Last import date" field. You can change that date back in the past and download again to make sure all available transactions from that date will be downloaded and thus reconciled to your transactions.
