Changing the color of transactions

Is it possible to create a rule for when I register a transaction on any of my accounts with a defined category, the transaction automatically changes its color to a defined highlight color?
Or do I have to always mark the transaction, click the right mouse button and click on "Apply rules to selected transaction"?

Yes you do, this is to avoid having all transactions messed up if a rule is misconfigured.

By the way, is there any way to use other colors than are available to mark a transaction?

Hi Cyril!
I have created a rule as follows so that when I include an uncategorized transaction, it will be colored yellow.
Conditions:
All of the following is true
Transaction being created (checked)
[Splits] The category is None
Actions:
Set highlight color to "Yellow Color"
But when I create a new transaction with no category, it doesn't turn yellow. Why does this happen, even with the "Transaction being created" option checked?
By the way, how should I make sure that this rule isn't used for transfer transactions between accounts, since they don't have a category?
Thanks in advance.

You have to apply rules with the menu item or cmd + R, it's not fully automatic to avoid problems.

You can add the "[Splits] The linked account is none" condition to your rule.
