Does an iCompta 4 License file work for iCompta 5?
Or do I have to pay the full price for iCompta v5 again?

No it doesn't work this is a paid upgrade and unfortunately Apple doesn't give developers a way to have a lower price for users of previous version.

Probably but iCompta 5 has been released recently and I'm not going to work on iCompta 6 any time soon.
