Icompta 5.0.2 painfully slow

Hello !
I am a very satisfied user of icompta from version 3 on till now. Congratulations to for creating such a useful software ....... Until now. I have migrated to the new version 5 and now 5.0.2. Iuse it on my Macbook air 2013 with 8 mb ram. When I load the software it is working so slow that I nearly everytime loose my nerves. Rotating beachballs all the time.
In an earlier post from end october, I read that a new version would be adressing some problems, and that this version would be coming out in about a weeks time. Now by end of november, still no new version.
What could the problem be and what can I do to solve it !!!'
