Hi all,

I have my Compta file synced with my iPhone. I noticed that the balance under one of my accounts is different. The two values (the one reconciled and the one not) are slightly different even if the the transactions are the same! I noticed that the values for iPhone are the correct ones while the values on my Mac are wrong.
Also, I do not understand why some accounts have a red or green icon and some have no icon at all even if their balances are negative or positive as the others.
Another account instead of showing the real values for balance, shows two mysterious values (one reconciled and one not) that summed up give to the real balance!

Can someone explain this ?

Are those accounts "people" accounts ? Because they don't have balance and icon showing.

You have probably not set the initial balance of the account.

1 - OK
2- they are not people account, but to be honest I do not know what a people account is. All accounts have owners anyway
3-Yes, it was set as per other accounts.

Can you post a screenshot illustrating the remaining questions ? Thanks

As you can see from these snapshots, account setup has an initial value set. Also, the only transactions non checked are those in suspended status and they do not sum up to none of the values next to the account balance.

Sorry but I don't understand, you need to tell me what numbers on the screen you think are wrong and why.

All the transactions are checked except those pending in the list of transactions. If you sum up those pending the difference between the values shown for the account should be the same as the result of sum of pending transactions, which is not, right ? Maybe I am wrong anyway

Not if you activated the "Display today's balance" or "Display VAT aware balance" settings in the preferences for example.
