I have been using iComputa on my mac and my old iPhone (3GS...) since last November and never had a problem synching the two. I just changed my iPhone to 4S, copied all my phone settings through iTunes, and I haven't been able to synch iComputa mobile on my new iPhone to the iComputa on my mac. This is what happens:
1. Open iComputa on my mac
2. Open iComputa on my iPhone (*both my mac and iPhone are always connected to wifi (LTE))
3. Click on the mobile icon at the right bottom corner of the iComputa on my mac
4. "Device" is blank, though my iPhone is showing iComputa mobile screen and is connected to the same wifi as my mac
5. New dialogue box comes out, saying "No device available".
What am I doing wrong?? Anything I need to manually change on either my mac or new iPhone??
BTW, the iComputa on my mac is version 4.0.11, on my iPhone is 2.2.10 (system: iOS 3.1).
Thank you so much for your help in advance!!
Chiaki.

Re: I cannot synch with my new iPhone
Just try to reboot your iPhone 4S and your WiFi router.
Re: I cannot synch with my new iPhone
Thanks, of course I tried that, but still the "device" field is blank and the iComputa on my mac doesn't recognize 4S.
Re: I cannot synch with my new iPhone
it looks similarly to my problem viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1050
I think this is a bug and further investigation is desired.

Thanks Zeliboba, yeah I think it's pretty similar. So does that mean there's nothing I can do about it now?

Re: I cannot synch with my new iPhone
Do you have a firewall running (like Little Snitch for example) ?
Re: I cannot synch with my new iPhone
No, the only changes made since the last successful synch are:
1) Changed my phone from iPhone 3GS to 4S
2) Started using LTE mobile wifi connection for both Mac and 4S, instead of ground LAN cable for Mac + Air mac sharing for 3GS.
I didn't change any fire wall setting or anything....

And there's no firewall as far as I know. I never set it.

Re: I cannot synch with my new iPhone
Sorry I'm not familiar with LTE yet but are the Mac and 4S connected together in WiFi and then the 4S is connected to the Internet with LTE ? Or are the Mac and 4S connected each one separately with LTE ?chiaki wrote:2) Started using LTE mobile wifi connection for both Mac and 4S, instead of ground LAN cable for Mac + Air mac sharing for 3GS.
Re: I cannot synch with my new iPhone
I thought LTE is a kind of wifi, like WiMax...
Both Mac and 4S are connected to the same LTE wifi. This LTE can cater 10 different divises to connect to the internet. Mac and 4S are using two slots, so to say.
