Account Disappeared

Post by Bongo »

I have just noticed that one of my accounts(Cash Account) on my iCompta application has disappeared from my list
of accounts. As far as I know I did nothing to remove or delete this account. Also, I noticed that the Font color and
Background color of the application has changed. Is there any way I can get the lost account to appear again?
Thanks.

You probably deleted it inadvertently by making a swipe on the row of the account ?

Have you enabled iCloud synchronization inside iCompta ? If so, have you saved since the account has disappeared ?

My icloud synchronization is automatic and the Cash account has also disappeared on my iCloud. However I had a back up in Dropbox last synchronized some weeks back as a .cdb file. Can you tell me how to download this file back to my iphone? Or is there any other way of getting the data back? Thanks.

You can perform the following steps :
  • Close your document to go back to the document selector screen
  • Click on the cloud icon and select "Deleted iCloud documents" (it will delete synchronization data but it won't delete your local document on your phone)
  • Click on the Dropbox icon in order to create a new document from latest Dropbox synchronization data
  • When the new document is open, touch and hold your finger on the missing account row, and select "Copy"
  • Close the new document and go back to your real document
  • Touch and hold your finger on any account row, and select "Paste"
  • You can delete the new document, it's not useful anymore
