Can't sync at all

Sync was working fine (iMac and iPhone) via iCloud. Now it's not. What should I do?

Do you save after having made your changes ? Hitting the save button is what makes the synchronization start.

The problem is the the sync button in iPhone switches off by itself, so I have to be checking it periodically
