CSV import

Post by Benjamin »

Hi :-)
I try to import a csv-File but when I do: Import > (selecting the file) Import (as CSV) > Encoding: UTF-8, Date: MM.dd.yyyy, Seperator: Semikolon... OK.. I can not choose anything, like he is finding nothing?

The CSV is saved like this:

10010123456;ERNA MUSTERMANN;20.10.2006;20.10.;-147,46;EUR
10010123456;Gutschrift Nr.55845;23.09.2005;24.10.;+2.489,62;EUR

THANKS a lot!

Can you send me a CSV file so that I can tell you which encoding to use ? Because it's probably not UTF-8.
Also the date format should be dd.MM.yyyy according to the sample lines you posted.

So the file is encoded as ISO Latin 1 and I confirm the date format is dd.MM.yyyy.
