Assigning categories as Income (not Expense)

Post by mrulster »

This may be obvious, but as a new user I can't figure out how to denote a category "Salary & Wages" as a positive Income item; all Categories are negative Expense items.

This is causing me frustration in the Budgets section, where I can't get "Salary & Wages" to appear in the Income column.

Any advice appreciated. Many thanks.

Just set a positive value for this category (green arrow) and it will work.

Thanks, it works. Easy when you know how: entering a "+" in front of the amount is crucial.
