Can't download on iPad 2 with iOS 5

Since I updated to iOS 5 I no longer can download transactions. The download wheel just keeps spinning and nothing happens. I have successfully downloaded on my MAC, so communication with the Bank is not a problem.
When is the app getting a REAL update that brings it up to standard. Currently it is only band-aid patching. The app was top when it was released but it is falling behind more and more every day. The layout is old, the name is older,investments and loans still can't be tracked and the rounding still doesn't work.
I had big hopes that this app will replace my Quicken, but at this point I am just getting more and more frustrated.
