iCompta + iPod Touch + iPhone 4 : sync problems

Post by LaoZi »

Hello,

I have a problem in trying to sync 2 mobiles ( iPod Touch + iPhone 4 with iComptaMobile 2.1) with iCompta 4.0.2.

The very first sync went very well but now the iPhone 4 is not found by iCompta. I checked the http servers displayed on both mobiles and the computer. They are different (10.0.0.2, 10.0.0.3:80, 10.0.0.4:80) so normally there is no conflict between them.

Any clue ?

My iPhone is 3GS but I also have a sync problem after I updated to the latest iCompta Mobile today.

I can not Sync iCompta on my PC with my NEW IPHONE4, it was working with my iPhone 3G.
Is there an iPhone 4 issue with iCompta mobile? :?

With iOS 4 and its new multitasking feature you have to quit iCompta to make it restart the synchronization server.
The next update will correct that but in the meantime you have to double tap the home button then hold your finger on iCompta icon and touch the red button.

I do not understand this operation. "Double tap the home button" exit from iCompta and then go to the Home position. Then, "hold my finger on iCompta" means to move (or remove) iCompta. And then again, what is "the red button". No such button is not any place of iPhone. I totally at a loss from this instruction.
Would you mind to guide it again precisely?

I still can't make it sync. :-( When is about to come out the upgrade? This issue is really annoying, makes the iPhone app barely useful...

If your force quit the app like explained above, then the problem is somewhere else and the update won't help. Try to reboot your Mac, your iPhone and your ADSL box, router, modem if you have one.
