Start a New Year

I have made a backup of last year and opened a New Year but when I make changes, and go back to last year the same changes there. How do I get a different new year and no changes in last year.

You need to use "File > Duplicate" menu item inside iCompta on the last year file so that it creates a new accounts file with a different internal synchronization identifier.
If you don't have the Mac version I can do it for you if you send me the file by email.
