Catalina - .cdb could not be opened!

Hi

I am using Catalina 10.15.1 and iCompta 6.0.31. I can open our accounts file for 5 - 6 times and then I get the error message "The document "ourAccounts.cdb" could not be opened"
I can access the file from iPad/iPhone but I have to restart my iMac every time to access that iCompta file, then wait for 5-6 uses and I get the message again? HELP

Where is the file "ourAccounts.cdb" located ? Is it on iCloud Drive for example ?

Hi

Located on main iMac HD, 4 folders down.

This is the main and only file apart from Time Machine backup.

When you see the message and restart your Mac then it works immediately without doing anything else ?

Yes

Then after a certain amount of activations this error appears and the only way I can open the .cdb file is to restart the iMac.

Very strange, well I don't really know what you can do to fix this but if I were you I'd try to reinstall macOS.
