Re: User Guide Differences?
Solved it! The 69 page version is for the Mac desktop application while the 86 page version is for the iOS app. The confusion is they are both titled "iCompta | Your accounts with ease"! I'm going to add "(Mac)" and "(iOS)" to the titles respectively.

OK, I'll check that when I view the PDFs. Thank you for the quick response.

User Guide Differences?
I have two versions of the User Guide, one of 86 pages and one of 69 pages. Looking at the current version online, it looks like it is the shorter version so I'm wondering what is missing from it that is on the other 17 pages? When I have time, I'll compare them page by page but I thought I'd ask fi...

Re: Suggestion
Then add an option to select a column labeled "Balance" that would show the running balance by each transaction.

Re: iCompta and PocketMoney
My suggestion is to just use iCompta and stay away from Guiseppe's attempt to pass a pale imitation of iCompta as "PocketMoney". I've used PocketMoney Desktop (PMD) and PocketMoney iOS (PMiOS) since 2010 & 2008 respectively, and consider Guiseppe an incompetent developer who has gone o...

Suggestion
I suggest that the "Preview" column option be renamed "Balance" as the term "Preview" does not make any sense. All other personal finance applications I either use or have used previously use the term "Balance". Examples are Quicken for Mac 2007 LC, PocketMone...

Preferred location of the .cdb file?
Is there a preferred location for the file or is any location fine? Would being located on a external drive cause a problem?

Re: QIF Import
OK, I have it working. The weird thing is that it wouldn't let me make a second configuration until after I had quit and then relaunched iCompta. I had exported a QIF from PocketMoney then imported it and created a configuration into iCompta. After that was done, I went to Quicken and exported anoth...

Re: QIF Import
D9/21'18 MM/dd''yy D9/21/18 MM/dd/yy The first format is from PocketMoney while the second is from Quicken for Mac 2007LC. I've been going PM>Quicken>iCompta. It is good to see I can go direct PM to iCompta by using double apostrophes. Once I use MM/dd''yy will it become the default and stay in tha...
