For example, let's say I have these categories and sub-categories: 1. House 1.1 Maintenance 1.2 Utilities 2. Taxes 2.1 Tax A 2.2 Tax B How do I include in a report...

Investment Account Fields
I am starting to use investment accounts to control capital market investments. Does the field "Type (number)" in the investment accounts have a different behavior when displaying the data? For example, when I create a transaction buying 20 shares named "PETR4" for R$21.00, it di...

iCompta 6.0.42 update
I'm running macOS Catalina 10.15.7 and after upgrading iCompta to version 6.0.42 the account group icons changed to white.
Is this the new standard?
I haven't tested it yet on macOS Big Sur...

Re: New version, if ever - future of icompta?

Developing a new version from scratch is really something that takes a lot of time and work. The current version of iCompra is stable ...

Summary of accounts
iCompta is a great software for personal finance management, but one of the things I miss about it is the existence of a kind of summary/overview/dashboard of my finances, preferably being the screen that appears every time I open my database. Is it possible in the current version, somehow, to have ...

For the categories I have the option to change the icon and color. So when I change the category icon, what is the usefulness of the color setting in this...

So I changed the main language to English, the Mac restarted, I customized the dates to dd/mm/yyyy and now iCompta displays the transaction dates are displaye...
