QIF: D9/21'18 or D9/21/18
OK, I see that the default iCompta date format for importing is mm/dd/yyyy so I'll change it to mm/dd/yy.

QIF Import
Is there a way to tell iCompta 6 to use the transaction dates contained IN a QIF rather than changing them to the current date? I use iCompta in parallel with PocketMoney so rather than manually repeating my transaction entries, I export a QIF from PM every few days which I then import into iCompta....

Re: Can't create subcategory
Hmmm, I tried that but it didn't work. I'll try again.
Edit: OK, It worked this time; I was using the wrong category list before.

Can't create subcategory
OK, I changed how I categorize a transaction using two subcategories. However, I can't create a subcategory. The user guide doesn't mention this so the only way I know how to do it would be to delete my entire database, then create a new one by importing a QIF from Quicken for Mac 2007 Lion Compatib...

Re: iCompta Dock Icons
No Joy. Where is the plist for iCompta stored? Perhaps if I deleted it?
BTW, the icon for iCompta6 is extremely close to the icon for the current 1Password when both are very small:

Re: iCompta Dock Icons
Unfortunately it didn't. But it showed me something I hadn't noticed before: Screen Shot 2017-02-04 at 13.18.39 .JPEG Is it possible that this was caused by converting my iCompta5 *.comptadb to the iCompta *.cdb format? Oh, if I have iCompta6 running and go to iCompta>About iCompta, I get this: Scre...

iCompta Dock Icons
Don't know if this is a problem with MacOS 10.11.6 or with iCompta 6.
While iCompta 5 and iCompta 6 have different icons in the Applications folder, in the Dock they both show the iCompta 5 icon.

Re: Can't drag and drop transactions
OK, I did try that but if I put it first it immediately screwed up my sort, ditto when it was last. Should it be in second or third place?

Re: Can't drag and drop transactions
Basically I sort first by date, then by number, then by name. But sometimes I want to drag a transaction above or below another, while leaving all the others in place. I haven't figured out how to do it using drag and drop.
