Currently, you have to filter on a specific date range but I'll try to add these date filters too.

You have to match the whole description so you have to add .* to the beginning and the end of your pattern.

The total in the upper right corner of each transaction is the preview of the account balance for that transaction so it's the sum of all transactions that occured before it. If you change its date you will then change the preview for all transactions.

You have to create a cash account for this. In you bank account you will only record the check deposit and cash withdrawal. Then on your cash account you can record your different payments.
