Re: Transactions disappearing

Angeman wrote: 09 October 2025, 11:29 There is one or more duplicated transactions that prevent saving. Since you deleted all transactions, I suggest you instead to go back to the document selector screen, delete your document and create a new one. It should work better this way.
Thanks, I'll give that a try later this afternoon

Re: Transactions disappearing

If it can't save then next time you quit and relaunch the app, all changes are lost. Could you post a screenshot of the error message ? So I deleted all transactions in all accounts (I did not delete the accounts themselves) and then re-imported transactions via qif files into each account. All of ...

Re: Transactions disappearing

The transactions are probably hidden by a filter, can you post some screenshots ? I checked filters and am pretty sure I've got all filters turned off/set to "ALL". That's burned me in the past. On the accounts page it shows a $0 balance for the two accounts that won't maintain transactions. I ...

Transactions disappearing

Using the iCompta app on my iPhone for some time without issue. Yesterday, I imported 6 qif files into 6 accounts as I do on a weekly basis. Initially the import appears to work as expected and the transactions show in each of the 6 accounts. However when I close the iCompta app and re-open the app ...

Re: QIF Imports

Angeman wrote: 21 March 2025, 19:46 If your QIF files happened to be located on iCloud Drive for example, you could also open them in Files app and click on the action button to open them in iCompta 6.
Thanks I'll give those options a try

Re: QIF Imports

I'll take a look at it however do you know that you can simply email yourself the qif files ? It should be quicker than using the embedded web server. I am not aware of that. So if I email one or more qif files (one qif for each account I have) from my computer to my phone, I can then import the ...

Re: QIF Imports

I'll add that once I get web server to connect and "allow" it on my phone, it will re-connect several times as needed. However, it seems once I shut down my computer and wait a week or so before trying to reconnect the web server the issue starts again.

Re: QIF Imports

I've been using the paid version of iCompta on my iPhone for some time now and it is working great and meeting my needs. However one issue that I've recently started experiencing is connecting to my computer via the iCompta web server. I transfer qif files weekly from my computer to iCompta on my ...

Re: QIF Imports

A couple more quesitons, I've created several rules and validation settings in the free Lite version of Compta. Will all of the rules and validation settings be stored in the backup zip file and transfer into the paid version of iCompta? Is there any advantage/disadvantage to purchase the full ...
