select/deselect categories

on the Mac, I use categories nested 2 levels (category - subcategory).
sometimes if I "deselect all" in the main menu, it does not deselect an explicit selection I made in one of the submenus.

Hello, with the cdb file positioned on iCloud and correctly opened, after importing transactions I received this message: The operation couldn’t be completed. (GSLibraryErrorDomain error 6 - clonefile(/Users/silvano/Library/Mobile Documents/com~apple~CloudDocs/Drive Files/iCompta IMPORT/bank input o...

Re: PSD2 Plans

so what you mean is that we will link to individual financial institutions that will have PSD2 API aggregation, but there is no plan at the moment to use APIs directly inside iCompta? (it is not a critique, it does not change a lot for me and I don't know the legal implications of such APIs. it's ju...

Hi,
To understand the outlook for the near future (next year or later): now that there’s a ramp up of Open Banking, will we have finally European APIs working like direct connect for US/CA in the app?

Re: Connect to icompta dB from excel or similar

correct, thanks for the suggestion. I will first read only to make graphs and other things with excel and R.
then for the import, I will try batch import of (existing) security quotes on a copy of the file. if I find it difficult, which is probable, I'll just desist

Re: Connect to icompta dB from excel or similar

This is awesome! The DB will be the .cdb file name? And can you share a list of tables if they are not self-explanatory (if they are, I’ll just start playing around).
If I can write to the dB, I can create the tax bracket calculator using rolling revenue, among other things!

Connect to icompta dB from excel or similar

Hello, I need to apply a few kpis/graphs/advanced calculations to transactions/budgets/security data. E.g. estimating my taxes by income bracket, building 3D graphs, weight securities vs benchmark, get the YoY evolution of the ROI of real estate rentals, get the variance of cash flow time series, et...

Missing isin codes

Hello, The issue of missing isin codes is starting to be a problem for me in using the app. I have built a rather elaborate web scraping+R solution to import data and then a screen recording to import quotes item by item, but it’s a dirty solution prone to errors that takes a lot of time. I believe ...
