Reconcile - name update

Is there a reason the name does not update when I reconcile with a transaction? I have a handful of transactions that keep wanting to import because the name is different, but they have been imported for a few weeks.

This is because the name you enter manually is normally better and more meaningful than the name given by the bank.

Maybe you have checked the option to use the names for reconciliation in the import settings window. Uncheck this option and it will try to reconcile even if the names of the transactions are different.
