Import dates

Post by freedmaniac »

I have just today downloaded iCompta and decided to import data from Microsoft Money in qif format.
The problem is that the dates for all imported transactions show as today's date.
Can this be avoided?

From the user guide : To import a Microsoft Money QIF file, the format to use is often dd/MM''yyyy.

Thank you for your prompt reply.
I have tried all of the date formats as you suggested, but still the same problem!

Be careful with the case MM and not mm and also with the quotes, two single quotes ' and not one double quote ".

Thank you very much for that ! It now works. I did not realise that it was two single ' marks.
Perhaps worth mentioning that in the manual (or did I just miss it?)
