Why I can no longer open files, and convert, from version 5 with iCompta version 6.0 Beta 10?

Is your accounts file password protected ? I have just implemented new MacBook Pro Touch ID support and I think it might be related.

I removed the password and the conversion worked Okay! :)

I am reorganizing my accounts for the year 2017, with a new structure of categories and projects, without considering the values of 2016 ...
Can I do this already using iCompta version 6.0 beta 10, with the new version of the database, while the final version is released?
Or is it better to do this using the current version (iCompta 5.1.17 (917)) and the future new version 6 will surely convert the database to the new version?

Or, if the new version is about to be released, I'll wait! ;)

Thanks in advance!

You can already do it with version 6 beta if you want, final version will be available quite soon.

With the new version, how can I make a transfer (date in the past) between different currency accounts using an informed conversion rate, not the automatic one?

It works exactly the same way as in version 5.

So I can not enter a currency rate manually for a transaction that happened in the past (transfer between accounts)?

You can't enter a change rate, you have to enter the amount directly and answer no when it asks if you want to update the amount of the linked transaction.

I downloaded iCompta 6 beta 11, but when I click iCompta Demo > About it shows iCompta Demo Version 6.0b10 (1130)...

Yes it's just a display issue.
