Can I use a keyboard shortcut to lock a transaction ?
How can I access a category using its first lettter instead of using the arrow keys, for faster typing?

There is no keyboard shortcut for that sorry.

Once the popup menu to choose the category is open, you can type the first letters and the corresponding menu item will be selected.
