downloading ascII info into v3?

is this possible and how do i do it? It is for a scotiabank credit card. There is only this option or excel.

looks like this and then continues with a line for every transaction:

the banks help says i should be able to download to quicken etc but it is not an option. i will be calling them to try and sort out later today

Ok so this a CSV file indeed, you should be able to import it without any problem.

all it does is display them all on a screen and then there is no option to do anything with it. Not sure what the next step would be

You can download the file with Safari and then import it using Transactions > Import menu item (or cmd-I shortcut).

ok

i do not see where or how to do that. the button on the website page that show the transactions "floppy disk" does not do anything. On the transaction page I can not find anything that saves or imports.

how do i do this?

sorry forgot to mention I am on an ipad

talked to the bank. they said that it has to be done from a statement only and will not do individual transactions. this does not make sense to me but may be an answer?

Oh sorry I forgot you were using the mobile version. Do you also have a Mac or PC ? If you have then you could download that ASCII file on your computer using a web browser. If you manage to do that I'll explain how to import that file in iCompta afterwards.
