Running balances (preview)

Post by ptr.chovan »

Hi
I've just noticed that if I sort transactions by value date then all running balances are shown incorrectly and running wrong way around when advanced filter is added. The only fix is to add sorting by date. It seems like the problem is on iPhone app and on iMac app.

Actually even adding sort by date doesn't help... The only fix is to not use advanced filters

It's explained in the user guide, in "Preview computation mode" : http://www.icompta-app.com/help.php#transactions

Ok... My apology... So how can I use filters and not to mess with running balances?

All I'm trying to do is a simple task to show transactions where value date is less or equal today (reconciled) and more then today (upcoming) with running balances unchanged

The way the different modes work is explained in the user guide with an example so just choose the preview computation mode that matches the result you want to have.

So the mode you want is "Add filtered transactions and displayed transactions in order".

Just found the option. Sorry for misunderstanding. It looks like it works perfectly right now. Thanks.
Is there also an option somewhere to save sorting with filters? I want to sort transaction in descending order when displaying reconciled transaction and ascending when upcoming
