Mobile Syncing with Imac

I'm currently trialing Icompta on my IMac and I really like it, however i cannot get the sync to work with my Iphone using dropbox. I can send files from my iphone to my dropbox folder but I cannot receive(replace) from my dropbox folder to my Iphone which is what i need as I make most of the updates on the Imac. The Sync it would seem isn't even supported. Getting the two to talk to each other will determine whether i purchase or look for another that supports easy sync between devices. Any ideas on how to get this to work?
