import csv file

Post by Loris »

hallo
I'm trying iCompta and i like it, i want to to buy it for my mac and the iPhone version, but i have a problem with importation CSV file. For me is very important, indispensable, to transfer all my old operations.
I have a CSV with this date forms:
03/02/10,American Express,-95,Spese Generali,Carte di Credito,,"quota associativa",Withdrawal
13/02/10,H3G SpA,-105.01,Spese Generali,Telefono,,,Withdrawal
17/05/10,MPS,768.17,Spese Generali,Carte di Credito,,,Transfer

I use the € x.xxx,xx but the CSV format is x,xxx.xx

Can you help me?

Thanks

Ok Angeman, thank you for your hel.

now the field position is correct but the import field in my csv file are x.xxx,xx and -x.xxx,xx (negative).
when I import csv file in icompta all imports are in a column (in or out depending where I chose put it in import)
have you a solution?

You have to match the column to the "Amount" field instead of "Debit" or "Credit" as you did.
